My purpose in returning to school to earn the MA in Government at Yorktown University was to become firmly grounded in the fundamental truths that launched this nation and to subsequently use that knowledge in my capacity as an elected public officer and as Chairman of a non-profit education organization that teaches the American Founding and the basics of constitutional government.

In 1993 I earned the MBA degree, but completed that course of study with serious doubts as to what was gained from the time and money spent.  Upon returning to school this time, I was adamant that experience not be repeated.  The serious student cannot help but appreciate the high caliber membership that make up the Yorktown University faculty and the depth to which their subject knowledge goes.
