Session 1
  Pequot Museum: This Research Library's collection, currently over 40,000 titles, contains current and historical works on the histories and cultures of indigenous peoples north of Mexico, including Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii, with an emphasis on 20th century materials.
 
Session 2a
  Colonial Education: This site is a re-created 17th-century environment used for educational activities for youth and adult groups.
 
Session 2b
  The Colonial Williamsburg site is a resource for bios, essays, and articles on the everyday lives of extraordinary Americans. Check here for background and research on the people and places of 18th-century Virginia.
 
Session 3
  National Canal Museum is the only museum in the country dedicated to telling the story of America's historic towpath canals. The museum features four galleries filled with hands-on exhibits that educate and entertain parents and children alike.
 
Session 4a
  Slater Mill Historic Site: This site offers visitors a unique opportunity to see how the Blackstone River Valley was transformed from a series of small farming and milling communities into one the nineteenth century's great industrial centers
 
Session 4b
  Lowell National Historical Park: This site tells the early story of America's Industrial Revolution. The Park offers visitors an in-depth look into the past that brought the 19th century textile industry to tap the waterpower of the Merrimack River while also revealing cultural connections to the present and visions for the future.

  National Park Service: This site covers everything from the remnants of ancient civilizations to the boyhood homes of U.S. Presidents to the stirring sagas of hard-fought wars to the reverberations of one woman refusing to give up her seat on a bus. History is a part of who we were, who we are, and who we will be.

  New York City Subways: This site is dedicated to the history of the New York City Subway system, including photos, maps, and documents.
 
Session 8
  Edison Institute is better known as the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, is one of America's outstanding museums and museum villages.
 
Session 9
  Smithsonian Institution: is the world's largest museum and research complex and includes 19 museums and galleries and the National Zoological Park.

  U.S. Census Bureau: Besides the decennial census, the Census Bureau conducts nearly one hundred other surveys and censuses every year.
